Just an observation based only on my opinion, MM's

What gets to me is coordinated basher efforts designed to negatively portray a company stock for the sole purchase of influencing stock value in order to enhance a short position, its "kind of like shouting fire in a crowed theater" with longs getting trampled because of artificially induced panic selling. Which, of course, tends to drive off shareholders and potential new investors. Clearly there are numerous strategies employed when buy/selling stocks but market manipulation by misrepresentation should not be one of them.
I see coordinated bashers as cheerleaders generally on behalf of large block holders letting the fox into the hen house.
As always, due diligence goes a long way towards minimizing this type activity.
