LOL, you must have read some of the posts on the Private Board.
If you have, then you know I tell it as I see it.....no BS, and I usually don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings (my favorite sayings are "Man-up!" and "Strap on a pair!")
I have already stated that the Inaugural Flight Party will be hosted by me and my fiancee' at our other house...."La Finca"..... in Head-of-the-Harbor, NY.
Last year we did all new doors and windows, new paint inside and out, re-finished the floors, built a new patio, and cut out 27 trees to expand the front lawn by over 1/2 an acre (it is a 3-floor, 8,000 square foot house on 4 acres that was built in 1865 and originally owned by William Smith, whose family founded Smithtown....and....it is decorated in a "vintage" style with claw foot tubs, pull chain toilets, and push button light switches, some pictures of it as well as my fiancee' can be seen in the upcoming April edition of NYC Vintage Magazine).
Oh....we also installed a fountain in the front of the house, which I pledged.....should BLTA hit 50 cents.....will be filled with champagne (ok...Andre'....but just because I don't truly want anyone to be drinking from the fountain - after all - it is outside with the birds, etc.).
Maybe I'll drop that pledge down to "when BLTA hits 20 cents."
My current guess is that we will see that party sometime in August, but stay with us here at BLTA and I will definitely send you and your wife and family an invite.
