The Clean Energy Trifecta that is Small-Scale, Biomass Fueled, Combined Heat and Power Facilities
With a sharp focus on the economic advantages offered by combined heat and power operations, this panel will explore the smaller, modular solutions available while outlining situations where they make the most financial sense. Presenters will discuss the different technologies and deployment models available to bring biomass power and thermal energy to environments with smaller, more nuanced demands . Gasification and organic rankine cycle technologies will receive close attention as well as advantages offered by modular plant design.
- Moderator: Jordan Solomon , President, Ecostrat
- Richard Fosgitt , Engineering & Technology, Cirque Energy Inc.
Gasification for Combined Heat and Power Renewable Energy - Simone Passera , Sales Engineer & Business Developer, Turboden S.r.l.
Maximizing Energy Utilization from Biomass Residues with Organic Rankine Cycle Technology for CHP - Frank Binkiewicz , Manager, Power Generation Sales, Valmet Inc.
Pre-Engineered and Modularized CHP Plants - Robert Emrich , Vice President, Sales, ElectraTherm Inc.

Complete joint development of prototype of a transportable micro Gasification system
.................and after a year plus conceptual proof of concept......:
WHEREAS, Northrop Grumman further conceptually developed and documented the DGU design in the “Proof of Concept Study” dated December 7, 2012 (Exhibit C) with CIRQUE as a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman in order to establish the requirements for the Program, and the Parties agreed that the Intellectual Property documented in the proof of concept study (Exhibit C) are owned by Northrop Grumman;
........Cirque Energy, Inc. (OTCQB: EWRL), today announced that the Company has entered into a Joint Development Agreement (the “JDA”) with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, acting through its Information Systems Sector, Defense Systems Divisions (‘Northrup”) for the development of a Deployable Gasification Unit (“DGU”).
.....and supplied by Cirque Admin on Jan 29:
Deployable Gasification Unit (DGU) Development – Our team is working on the final detailed engineering and early manufacturing of prototype DGU’s as part of our partnership with Northrop Grumman. We are constructing two prototype units (military and commercial) and expect to have these assembled and complete for extended duration testing and documentation during the summer of 2014 . We have significant interest in these systems from both military/government and commercial customers. The prototype units should be available for customer demonstrations and sales purposes in the fall of 2014, with DGUs available for delivery in by 2015. Our website will soon include additional information on the DGU.
Do you think that the timing fits into place here? More importantly.....any info that Cirque puts up on it's web site will have to be allowed by Northrop. Do you think that just possibly.............you might see a major news release by both companies prior to said event(biomass conference)?
. ....... maybe?
