A total of 531,791 no-par value bearer shares each with a notional interest in the share capital of EUR 1.00 (New Shares) were issued at a price of EUR 3.40 per share, meaning that the share issue provided Alphaform with a cash inflow of around EUR 1.8 million. In a private placement, the New Shares were largely acquired by a prominent institutional investor with a long-term focus, who has now become a shareholder of Alphaform AG for the first time. The remaining New Shares were subscribed by other institutional investors. In addition to the capital increase, the principal shareholders granted Alphaform AG a loan of EUR 1.5 million on 25 February 2014. This will provide the company with a reliable financing base for the longer term and allow it to optimise its existing debt structure. Alphaform is planning to use the new funds of EUR 3.3 million for investments in systems and sales in particular. The company's aim is to position itself in the emerging market for additive manufactured series products in the medium term. As a result of the capital increase, the share capital of the company has increased by EUR 531,791.00, from EUR 5,318,209.00 to EUR 5,850,000.00. Shareholders' pre-emptive subscription rights were disapplied. The New Shares are dividend-bearing from 1 January 2013. They were included in the company's existing stock exchange listing in the Regulated Market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 27 February 2014.
