I decided this was sufficiently on point to post here.

The Apr 13,2012 CWRN PR talked about possible beneficiation plant w Bao onsite-a process that increases iron %. We dont yet know what the iron % was outside the veins. Apparently ore doesnt have to be low grade to benefit from beneficiation, for I noticed this PR on another miner (not yet in production) today:

"Completed 3,400 m of drilling and identified numerous areas of high purity anorthosite.. Completed the extraction of a 100 tonne bulk sample. Completed beneficiation test work to produce a high purity product with minimal processing"

" Our drill program.. continued to demonstrate the presence of high grade zones. As well, a new high grade zone... has been discovered ...  Almost 100% anorthosite was intersected in every hole demonstrating the massive nature of this body"

I am not a miner or a geologist and so have wondered what the iron ore % values were for the Oct to March? drill holes 69-73 outside the veins for which Bao was testing samples for the possible beneficiation plant-we havent yet heard.
And wondered about the relationship between magnetic separation and beneficiation, with beneficiation requiring more processsing than magnetic separation.

So it was interesting this other miner was considering benefication despite numerous zones of high purity. Also interesting they didnt associate beneficiation with a high amount of processing but rather described it as producing "a high purity product with minimal processing".
