You're right it would make more sense. $BCAP is fundamentally undervalued if the $350-400k write-off is confirmed. That with the currently known net assets should give $BCAP net assets of $500-550k (almost $0.0003 net asset value).
It may be that all resources are being put into the current "known" activities as a matter of priority (audit drafts, shell, S-1, etc. I expect we may have to wait for BCAP to update investors on all those "known" issues before the "unknown" issue of a buyback.
