Good morning... some of the following information has come to my attention and want to share with my EEDGfriends here:
The correct address as confirmed to Mr. Boyd by the real estate agent is 2380 Sheriff Road in College Park, Georgia. I understand Mr. Boyd personally visited the site yesterday to further confirm... Sheriff Road is a side street to Old National Highway and while the building faces Old National, the mailbox is on the side street.
As I personally know, multitasking is difficult at best and in a hurry to accommodate getting the PR ready Thursday evening for Friday morning’s delivery to honor commitment to shareholders, Mr. Boyd has apparently made an honest mistake. What’s the big deal? I know there’s a building and a lease for the first of many Gourmet Chicken Company locations and that’s all there should be to it.
There’s no reason why anyone should be making a mountain out of a molehill here over a simple error… or for any to distort facts or try to manipulate stating such fallacy as the property “is still for sale” or doesn’t even exist.
Mr. Boyd is attempting to build a great operation and opportunity for many and I for one will give him all my support … there’s no room for skepticism or doubt as I know what I own and what kind of CEO we have here. No one is perfect but a stellar reputation, business acumen, honesty and integrity… which are hard to come by in pennyland… are truly the makeup of our Mr. Boyd… of that I am sure.
As I’ve said before, a businessman doesn’t just wake up one morning, go to Main Street and find the perfect location with the best visibility, approved signage and permits for a restaurant(s) with a grease trap, drive through, adequate parking and seating, etc… and at a ‘reasonable-fair’ price; not that simple. And yet, I believe Mr. Boyd has found an excellent first site and operation with needed equipment which is probably saving thousands of dollars along the way. I applaud him for taking whatever time was needed to do this right and start us off with the very best toward bigger successes!
Hope we'll see something from our CEO himself about this and move on to bigger things and happy days ahead...
