Air Carrier Certification

As a new U.S. airline, Baltia is undergoing the FAA Air Carrier Certification process. Upon completion of the certification, Baltia will be issued a Part 121 certificate.

Management Team

Igor Dmitrowsky President and CEO

Mr. Dmitrowsky is the founder of Baltia Air Lines. He has over 35 years of experience in business management. Mr. Dmitrowsky emigrated from Latvia to the US in 1976 and became a citizen in 1982. He was Chief Engineer for Durst Industries. He later founded Booster Technical Associates, Inc. and American Kefir Corporation.

Russell Thal Executive Vice President

Mr. Thal has over 45 years of experience in business management and aviation technology. He served in the US Army. Mr. Thal was Director of Operations, and Liaison for Military Airlift Command for Seaboard World Airlines, and Director of Stations for New York Air. He founded Compuflight (acquired by Navtech) and served as Chairman of Navtech.

Barry Clare Vice President of Finance

Mr. Clare has over 35 years of experience in business management and investment banking. He was President of Venture Capital State, Inc., Vice President of Intermediaries, Inc., the founder of American Breaktime Industries and Chief Operating Officer for Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Joseph C. Pampalone Vice President of Operations

Mr. Pampalone has over 35 years experience in airline operations and management. He served in the US Navy. Mr. Pampalone has held operations control positions at Island Helicopters, Alitalia, America West, New York Air and Continental.

Anthony D. Koulouris Vice President of Marketing

Mr. Koulouris has over 20 years of experience in sales & marketing, business management and corporate finance. He has served as Vice President at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Koulouris co-founded a number of successful businesses.

Robert E. Strom Vice President of Public Relations

Mr. Strom has over 50 years of experience in business management and communications. He published  The Progress, a Canadian newspaper, and two industrial magazines. Mr. Strom was an executive at ACI, Cosmania, American International Industries, HBS and Strom Sales.

Paul Tedeschi Assistant Vice President of Finance

Mr. Tedeschi has over 25 years of experience in business administration and finance. He spent over 10 years in the Media and Printing industry and founded Atlantis Custom Pools. Mr. Tedeschi has effectively managed complex projects and personnel.

William E. Kassar Jr. Director of Investor Relations

Mr. Kassar has over 20 years of experience in finance and private wealth management. He has served as a principal for Milestone Group Management, Solomon Grey, Royal Hutton Securities.

Daniel J. Buckley Director of Finance

Mr. Buckley has over 25 years of experience in finance and business administration. He was a financial analyst for General Electric Investments, International Equities, Cantor Fitzgerald and Tullet Prebon. He has an aviation technology background at Sikorsky Aircraft.

Michael Sharbaugh Chief Maintenance Inspector

Mr. Sharbaugh has over 33 years experience in airline maintenance management and quality control. Mr. Sharbaugh has worked at Eastern Airlines, Airborne Express, ABX Air and Atlas Air.

Capt. William J. Cline Director of Flight Operations

Capt. Cline has over 30 years of experience in flight operations and airline management. He has served as Check Airman, Chief Pilot, and as Director of Flight Operations. He has worked for Amerijet International, Vanguard Airlines, Sunworld International Airlines and Southern Air. He has logged a total of 18,500 hours of flying.

Capt. Frank A. Acquavella Manager of Flight Standards

Capt. Acquavella has over 40 years of experience in flight operations and business management. He served in the United States Air Force. He has served as Check Airman for Delta Air Lines and Cargo 360. He has logged a total of 22,000 hours of flying.

Marianne Hickey Manager of Cabin Safety

Ms. Hickey has over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry. She has instructed and overseen airline emergency training programs. She was Check Airman and Director of In-flight Services at Tower Air.

Herb Eppich Manager of Engineering & Maintenance Programs

Mr. Eppich has over 27 years of aviation experience in technical operations. He has served as Senior Engineer, Director of Engineering, and Director of Quality Control. He has worked for Pan American World Airways, Tower Air and Atlas Air.

Bill Freymann Manager of Maintenance Planning

Mr. Freymann has over 50 years of aviation management experience. During his career at Pan Am and Atlas Air, he managed personnel and maintenance requirements for a fleet of over 150 aircraft and 500 engines.

Igor Vinnikov Manager of Information Systems

Mr. Vinnikov has over 15 years of experience in information network management. He has served as Systems Administrator at JPMorgan Chase and Manager of IT Services at North American Airlines
