I am truly sorry about your sisters son, that said in my humble opinion alcohol and prescription drugs are more of a gateway than MJ, and many studies are out that support that. I believe the benefits of MJ as it relates to pain relief are proven, and without the addiction problems that come with prescription meds. HBO Realsports just did a nice piece on the subject, I would encourage all to check it out.
