TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Feb 12, 2014) - Nevada-based Modern Mobility Aids, Inc. (OTC Pink: MDRM) (the "Company"), has recently appointed Mr. Samuel Hill as a Director and CEO and Mr. Declan French as Director and Chairman of the board.
MDRM will strive to be a premier company in the cannabis domain as the attitudes in the western world towards medical marijuana are rapidly changing and there is a strong movement towards legalization of medical marijuana in many jurisdictions and the Medical marijuana industry is expected to experience remarkable growth in the next ten years as many countries legalize medical marijuana. For centuries, cannabis has been used around the world for treatment of various illnesses, including pain, anxiety, sleep disorders and stress .
Mr. Hill has held the positions as Manager of Aboriginal Business Development of Ontario, Consultant to "Challenge Fund" and Economic Development Director for First Nations communities.
Mr. French is Managing Director at Goldbear Capital, a boutique mergers and acquisitions firm that focused on raising capital for growing companies through private placements and public offerings. From 2009 to 2011, Mr. French served as the Vice President of Business Development for Foundation Markets, a Toronto-based investment bank where he raised private capital for start-up mining companies. Prior to this, he was the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Thinkpath Engineering Services (formerly IT Staffing Ltd.) and grew it to $45 million in revenue. While running Thinkpath, he completed an IPO and raised $30 million in capital through PIPEs. Mr. French has also served as President for companies including Toronto Executive Consultants, TEC Partners, Torex Computers, and Euro Terminals. Mr. French attended the University of St. Thomas Rome Italy where he studied Philosophy and Psychology.
Commenting on the Company's business evolution which now focuses on the increasing demand for medical marijuana, Hemp Products and other Homeopathic products Mr. Hill remarks, "We are determined to put the company on a solid path to success in the alternative medicine market.
