His wife is a naturalized Mexican- thus holds land title to Navial properties in her name as per either current or past laws re foreign ownership of land, especially in the sensitive 70-100 mile wide border strip -we saw this from the posted 2010 NI 43- 101 etc
I also believe, based on her name, she is indigenous,and thus its possible the name and sub spinoff Kiliwa- referring to an historical indigenous tribe in that area, is a nod to his wife-
perhaps more than the reasons suggested in the PR indicate,as their were no suits over accounts payable and the 2 suits referenced by the PR reportedly were
1) the suit w the port over the ore at port - (referenced sideways in the pr itself for CWRN won that suit and thus the ore finally shipped) resulting from the govts premature cancellation of all iron 2011 permits nationwide (due to illegal mining on mainland,which we've posted articles about) just before cwrn's planned 12-21-11 ship and then govt added extra audits in 2012 which took to mar 2012 to finish-we posted that ca 13 co's could not past those aiudits at all
2) and reportedly re something improper geo had done,for which geo would 've been held ultimately responsible
and
3) since debts etc were apparently not completely ? but substantially paid off as per the PR itself there would've logically been no likelihood of suits over accounts payable,let alone bankruptcy,especially after the profits from shipping 68069 tons on the Panamax Ilia
so the real reason for the creation of KMG remains to be seen imo as we eventually get more info
I know u dont fall into this trap medi but its really premature -speaking of another board (not this board) posters thoughts on this- requiring more info and knowledge of brads plans- when 1 or more presume the value will be in the subs stock rather than CWRN- esp when the sub is WHOLLY OWNED by CWRN-
and other mines either already concessioned by CWRN - like Baja 4 and the mine in the pics with Bao Presidents in summer of 2012- or even concessions owned by Navial- could come under the CWRN stock banner or another WHOLLY OWNED sub created to hold those concessions -we have to wait to see what brads plans are- his huge concession empire, buyout of controlling shares,the flair of the PR, the 500 m kmg? planned AS,all indicate those plans are big-much bigger than the thought processes of any poster so far-
in a sea of posters where the worst is usually imagined (and i understand to a certain extant given the unprecedented political games pennies have been subjected to since fall of 2009) where a usually positive thing like a dividend automatically in holders eyes becomes a r/s of the worst kind
at any rate CWRN shareholders wont lose anything by way of the dividend, for the value will be ultimately determined by resolving political games like dtc, plus operations on the ground
