CRYSTAL SPRINGS, FL--(Marketwired - February 13, 2014) - CES Synergies, Inc. (CESX) announces that its subsidiary, Cross Environmental Services, Inc. (CES), has received a contract and has begun to provide remediation and demolition services on Phase 3 of the State Road 7 corridor extension for the Florida Department of Transportation, District IV, Broward County. The contract is valued in excess of $1 million with an anticipated duration of 18 months. Currently, CES is working on the fifth task order with 51 task orders to be completed thereafter.
The project requires abatement of asbestos containing material (ACM) and the subsequent demolition of a variety of commercial structures extending into the right of way for the proposed State Road 7 expansion. The scope of work consists of wet method ACM abatement where necessary, and the structural dismantlement and demolition of the buildings. All materials from the abatement activities are disposed of in licensed facilities, and demolition debris is segregated to maximize the recycling and reuse of the materials removed from the site.
Mr. John Tostanoski, President of CESX, commented, "We're very pleased to continue our relationship with FDOT, District IV, which is a nice complement to the work we have done, and continue to do, with FDOT throughout many of its districts in Florida."
