For me the thing to remember about New Carolin Gold is that is was a gold mine (it closed when gold fell below $370 and their metallurgy was extracting only 55%). It's will be again IMO.
So there is no exploaration here, really. There is only the expansion of the size of the resource and they are beginning drilling by end of September.
That's very very good.
The fact that they want to take the gold out of the tailings is, in addition to the cash, what they will want to do before they bring this into production.
The expansion of the size of the resource may indicate that what they will be able to do is make the whole Carolin mine and the McMaster zone with the Montana Showing in between an open pit. If their future drilling shows that this is possible then the cap-x and op-x will be much cheaper than going underground.
The potential for a multi-million ounce extractable resource is real. IMO
