SEATTLE, February 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Imogo Mobile Technologies Corp. (IMTC) and Global Digital Systems PLC (ECM:STC), owner of SiteTalk Community Inc. are pleased to announce plans to rapidly expand SiteTalk's popular Social Networking Platform into the US.
Since its launch on January 16, 2009, SiteTalk has successfully leveraged its business model for rapid growth. For example, between November 2010 and February 2014, registered membership has jumped from 400,000 to 15 million SiteTalk Members. This growth has occurred entirely without marketing efforts in the US, with the majority of existing Members coming from Asia and Europe.
Now SiteTalk has entered into an MOU with US technology development company Imogo Mobile Technologies. Once the definitive agreement is finalized, Imogo will become an integral part of SiteTalk's global growth plan.
The partnership will grant Imogo license rights for the United States marketing and distribution of SiteTalk. The agreement may also include licensing of the brand name, domain name, goodwill, technology, code and intellectual property developed and associated with SiteTalk.
The Definitive Agreement is expected to be signed on or before May 2, 2014, subject to legal due diligence by Imogo's legal counsel and Imogo obtaining all requisite internal corporate approvals (which shall include a shareholder approval by Imogo).
"Imogo is very excited about joining forces with SiteTalk," said Imogo President and Founder, Stewart Irvine. "Together, we can take this unique Social and Business Networking Platform to a global stage."
Imogo will use its mobile platform and html5 technology to mobilize awareness among particular US consumer market segments.
SiteTalk Managing Director Frank Ricketts commented, "This is the ideal time and the ideal relationship to take SiteTalk to the next level-a truly global Social Networking Platform, with a proven business model."
