The SCRC joint-venture strategy is smart and it is working. SCRC, instead of trying to conquer the world alone, is teaming up with experienced professionals in the pharmaceutical industry , the venture capital community and the investment banking world. By teaming up with professionals and creating a mutually profitable joint-venture, SCRC gets to leverage the resources from their JV partners. The JV partners can open new doors never available to SCRC. New doors mean new opportunities .
I would imagine this concept is the basis of the Global Pharma Hub deal. Foolish posters on this board think that just because a company was recently created means it has no value. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The value of companies are in the PEOPLE, not the incorporation date. I imagine the players behind Global Pharma Hub are quite experienced operators in the global capital markets and teamed up with Scrips to create new and exciting opportunities. Why else would Bob sign with Global???????
From the news today, it appears that SCRC and Global Pharma have their act together.
Leveraging the networks, resources and experience of others is a smart play. Why try to do it all yourself when you can team up and potentially move your business forward exponentially faster? This simple concept is, my opinion, the logic behind SCRC's JV initiatives.
