Welcome Brenda or Little Wiggs.  The company Timeless Timber Company was hurt by the downturn in the economy as so many building products companies were.  If the company started up today, they would have a slightly better chance of surviving, but home and business construction is still not back to what it once was, and furniture is not doing much better.  Timber Holdings Limited was also a Wisconsin company, and they purchased the lumber from the old AQCI company to rebuild Atlantic City's famed Boardwalk.  However, the last I checked, Timber Holdings also went into receivership and may have been taken over by someone else.

I understand your fascination with this timber.  Old growth timber is so much more than what we have today.  Old growth timber is not only valuable, it is better in nearly every single way.  Did you know timber recovered after years of submersion is as fire resistant as concrete and has strength equivalent to steel?  From a craftsman's point of view, old growth submerged timber has more color and grain structure, and exhibits properties beyond compare.
