Thats part of the problem. I dont think what they are doing is illegal as long as they cover or short more within 7 days. As far as i know it just requires more cash flow to short it. NITE for example prior to the scandal about the supposed computer glitche was worth around 1.3 billion and lost around 400 million most of their cash reserves and have survived. "Longs" here unofficially appear to have all less than $ 100,000 total invested each and the combined buying power/cash flow of a very small business.
With that said I do not know all the requirements and legalitys of shorting but if anyone sees an anomaly or knows how we collectivley could make a claim I'd love to hear it. However I think fundamentals are finally starting to trump the manipulation. IMO the groundwork has been layed out leases acquired equiptment bought and consultants and outside help brought in. Now it is put up or shut up time for Treaty. The only weaknesses IMO are the logistics in Belize the total S/S and the manipulation... Oil is flowing and the upward rebound is inevitable as long as Treaty has the will and the means to move forward!
