I feel like you do when you are out in the field.

The air is crisp, you've been waiting a long time and you can't feel your feet anymore, and you are just about to give up hope and call it quits.

Then suddenly in the distance, you can see what you have been waiting for all this time....slowly making its way towards you.

You very slowly and cautiously bring your rifle around....very quietly........and you line up your intended target in the crosshairs.............

And that is where I sit.  Right in that position.  Controlled, steady breathing....afraid to breathe to heavy because I don't want a puff of steam to give away my position, my heart racing in anticipation, and even though it is freezing cold I can feel drops of perspiration forming on my forehead.....just waiting for the right moment to gently and slowly "ease" the trigger.....knowing full well that when I finally do so, all hell is going to beak loose.

So....thank you Baltia.  I haven't felt this way in quite some time.

Half of me wants this feeling to last forever, the other half wants like hell to get it over with so that I can move on to the next stage of excitement.

Take your time, BLTA......right now, I am just thoroughly enjoying living in the moment.
