What’s Holding Us Back From True TV Everywhere?

....there is little to hold the movement back. A few changes from content owners and service providers are all that’s needed to open the floodgates.
This requires a significant shift in the way the industry does business. Instead of complex content agreements that keep viewing rights siloed across different screens, we need to move toward multiscreen agreements that bring predictability to the windowing process.
(that part doesn't sound so simple)
