It really is weird.I find afacebook people/friendsare not about action.If they have to click a link,it is far too much work for them to deal with.When I was organizing last years St.Judes benefit I got much more support,assistance,donations and interest from people outside of facebook that I see regularly.My clients and Sausalito merchants were the stars of the show,while most of my facebook friends( my close freinds helped of course,lead singer flew in from Portland) were total duds.Very dissapointing,changed my whole view of facebook.Very few use it to lift eachother up or help with projects it seems.Too busy taking quizzes on which Star Wars character or 90s alternative rocker they are.(I am the Sarlac,btw).Imagine the possibilities FB could provide if friends would simply share and like your business or band page.200 friends sharing with their friends would reach 40,000 people.
I still wont tell them I told you so,but it is tempting!
