Her infectious smile and sharp wit has become a signature for actress/ comedian, Kim Coles. She's starred in numerous television productions including the 90's hit sketch comedy series In Living Color and the sitcom Frasier ; but perhaps best known for her five season stint as 'Synclaire' on FOX's ground breaking comedy series still in syndication, Living Single .

Written and performed by Coles and directed by Scotch Ellis Loring, Oh But Wait...There's More! gives account of her career as an entertainer with Hollywood insider stories told through her unique comical style of anecdotes, multimedia, and an interpretive dance number only Coles could perform. After the hit Fox TV comedy Living Single got cancelled, Coles realized there was nothing that compared to the free food, personalized parking spaces and sweet perks of showbiz success. As pilot seasons came and went and residual checks all got spent, Coles broke down and figured out a way to find true meaning beyond the glam of TV cameras and red carpets. It's her story in the way only she can tell it with sincerity, honesty, and hilarity.

Coles was The Ensemble Theatre's 2013 Actress of the Year honoree, and now she is returning to Houston in support of The Ensemble's Annual Heart of the Theatre Appreciation Celebration.

Heart of the Theatre is an annual celebration hosted by The Ensemble Theatre board of directors and staff in which the theatre pays homage to its subscribers and general community of supporters. This event offers a special performance outside of the regular mainstage season as a way of saying "thank you" for their support of the organization. Acclaimed celebrity artists including T.C. Carson, Charles "Roc" Dutton, and Ella Joyce have participated in the celebration with exclusive performances drawing thousands of guests.

The Ensemble Theatre's 2013-2014 Season is sponsored in part by grants from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance, Texas Commission on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts. United Airlines is the exclusive airline sponsor for The Ensemble Theatre.

The Ensemble Theatre was founded in 1976 by the late George Hawkins to preserve African American artistic expression and to enlighten, entertain, and enrich a diverse community. The theatre is known as the only professional theatre in its region dedicated to the production of works portraying the African-American experience. In addition to being the oldest and largest professional African-American theatre in the Southwest, it also holds the distinction of being one of the nation's largest African-American theatres that owns and operates its facility with an in-house production team. Board President Emeritus Audrey Lawson led the capital campaign for The Ensemble's $4.5 million building renovations that concluded in 1997.

The Ensemble Theatre produces a main stage season of contemporary and classic works devoted to the portrayal of the African American experience by local and national playwrights and artists. The theatre's Performing Arts Education program provides educational workshops, Artist-in-Residence experiences and live performances for students both off-site and at the theatre. Through its varied programs, The Ensemble Theatre benefits an audience and artistic constituency of approximately 65,000 people annually.
