Baltia is going through the Federal Aviation’s Administration certification process, and has passed the documentation process, Clare says. Once the company completes its certification process and officially launches, the airline plans to provide the first nonstop service for passengers, cargo, and mail between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, Russia. The airline is finalizing its selection of cabin crew personnel in anticipation of training, says Tony Koulouris, a spokesman for Baltia.
