The Ministry of Economy revealed that 4 companies export to China without legal permits .
These are part of a group of 10 companies that allegedly irregularly exploit iron mines of Colima , Michoacan and Jalisco, and then export the ore to China to under-invoiced prices.
" By 2013 it has no records of export permits for the Shanghai International Sinaloa Iztapa Mining Group (sic ) Zihuatanejo, Ignacio Herrera Ochoa and Min Ben Consortium companies," he said.
In a letter sent to Reform Group, in response to an information request , the agency explained that , in the case of those companies would be customs and port in charge of verifying the amounts exported authorities , their association with each permit and prices reported in these operations.
He noted that the export permit is a measure that dependence adopted from the March 18, 2011 , after detecting since 2010 irregular iron ore mining in these entities and export to countries like China.
On April 11 , Grupo Reforma reported that about 10 exporting firms exploit mines in these entities without authorization from the Ministry of Environment, and the allegedly stolen iron ore reaches one million tons annually, according to Customs data , provided by a source who requested anonymity .
Six other exporters that appear in the data include: helmsman Mining , Mining Unified Development , Building Five , New World Minning Corp , Veaje and Zhong .
