I've done the same thing. My new hobby became collecting shares beginning last August. This is turning out to be exactly what I thought it was from the beginning. And more. Sometimes I get annoyed because there's lots of guys here making money trading their stock. And I get bored and want to do the same.  However, I suck at trading.  My script is to just collect and grasp those golden tickets in my fist. Ha ha.
