What:
Intuit Inc. [INTU], creators of business and financial management solutions that simplify the business of life for small businesses, consumers and accounting professionals, will be at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square the day after the big game to cap off its Small Business Big Game Program by opening the market.
For the first time in company history, Intuit will air two spots during football's biggest game on Feb. 2.
One of the ads is the culmination of Intuit's Small Business Big Game Program. The six-month program was created by Intuit to celebrate small businesses across America by giving them a voice and recognizing their contributions. Since July 2013, Intuit has helped small businesses share their stories with the world, providing more than $25 million in rewards, with a grand prize of a fully-paid, fully-produced 30-second ad in the big game. The winning ad will air during the third quarter and will be the first-ever commercial for a small business, courtesy of QuickBooks.
Additionally, in the second quarter, a new ad for Intuit's TurboTax will air. This spot is being created specifically for the big game and is part of a new TurboTax brand campaign entitled "It's Amazing What You're Capable Of." The campaign is a celebration of hard working Americans and the incredible things they accomplish every day.
In honor of the occasion, Brad Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Intuit will ring the Opening Bell. Smith will be joined at the bell ringing ceremony by the four finalists of the Small Business Big Game program, Barley Labs , GoldieBlox , Locally Laid Egg Company and POOP – Natural Dairy Compost .
