YSU International Trade Assistance Center supports companies
The International Trade Assistance Center in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University continues to support growth with international trade by extending support and facilitating the international distribution of products between NanoLogix Inc. and Nasaem Al-Jazira Inc.
NanoLogix Inc. is a biotechnology company headquartered in Hubbard, Ohio. The company manufactures four major types of technologies: BNF, BNP, N-Assay and Flatpack packaged petri plates. The local company currently holds relationships with nine countries in four continents. The first year of sales for NanoLogix Inc. is projected to total $900,000 from this contract. Bret Barnhizer, CEO of NanoLogix Inc. will be aided by ITAC throughout the agreement process with Faisal Nasser Al-Harthi, CEO of Nasaem Al-Jazira Inc.
Nasaem Al-Jazira Inc. is a trading and distribution company headquartered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company plans on distributing all four products in the Gulf Cooperation Council area over a five-year period.
ITAC is an extension of the Ohio Small Business Development Center at YSU and the Ohio Development Services Agency. Mousa Kassis, ITAC advisor, assists companies with focusing their efforts on increasing export sales and employment, as well as retaining companies in 13 counties. The counties extend from Ashtabula in the north to Tuscarawas and Muskingum in the south. ITAC will continue to work with NanoLogix Inc. as the company continues to increase business ties with companies in Thailand, Singapore and Europe.
