OBJE Moves Forward With Licensing Agreement Obsce
Post# of 94144
Obscene Interactive, the gaming division of OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE), announced today that it is moving forward with negotiations on an agreement to license the first in a suite of mobile games developed by Corv Studios.
This week, the two companies inked a new Memorandum of Understanding, the next step toward a partnering agreement with Corv to produce and publish creative new gaming apps for smartphones and tablets. If and when an agreement is reached, the partners would publish the games under OBJE's Novalon Games brand.
First, OBJE plans to discuss licensing Pac-Ball, a clever game that uses mobile devices’ accelerometer to fuse classic arcade action with the manic fun of ball labyrinths. The title was released by Corv in 2010 and has surpassed 1.5 million downloads across the Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) Play and Amazon Apps stores. OBJE believes it has identified a number of ways to improve the application and optimize revenues.
Corv Studios could soon be the first of many licensing and development partners to begin developing and releasing hot new games under the Novalon brand. OBJE is working to build a robust portfolio of engaging new content to capitalize on the explosion in gaming across the globe. The company earned its first revenues last year by releasing new games including Phantasmic, Bluff Wars and Creature Tavern.
Through its gaming division, Obscene Interactive, OBJE is working to deliver many more innovative gaming products for the Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) App Store and Google Play market alongside companies such as Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU) and The9 Limited (NASDAQ: NCTY).
