so a possible deal in the works does not disappear if a proposed deadline is not met -companies reportedly have a pre-existing relationship and logically would continue working on a deal until and unless its clear they arent able to
also it may take some time before they report a deal, as details are finished once they have a proposed working arrangement,so shorters who bashed the PR immediately when it was 1st announced in Sept and never give anything its due, dont count your chickens yet

Wolverine Exploration Announces Commencement of Exploration on the Eureka Project
Vancouver, British Columbia-(Accesswire-August 8, 2013)-Wolverine Exploration Inc. ("Wolverine") ( WOLV ) is pleased to announce it will be starting work in August on its 100% owned Eureka Project in the Cariboo Mining District of British Columbia, Canada. The project consists of 20 mineral tenures, comprising 3,910 hectares (9661 acres), immediately adjacent to CVG Mining Ltd.'s Wingdam Project.
A crew has been assembled to conduct a ground supported magnetic geophysical survey that will measure localized variations on prospective areas of the properties. Wolverine anticipates the work will begin prior to August 15. The magnetic survey will provide additional information on prospective targets and will be also used for assessment purposes to keep the claim group in good standing until planning for more advanced exploration can be completed.
