If you feel the need to reply to a known basher (most times, the best reply is no reply- some think that not replying let's them "win", when in fact, replying is really counter productive)- send your reply to someone that is a known committed long (such as perchy or Diane here).

Make sure you start your reply with something in the first few words that will show up on the subject line and catch their attention. The more they have to defend and the less replies they get, the more frustrated they will get.

For example: When the DEATH CROSS issue was brought up, instead of directing my reply to PLUTUS, I replied to a known long. I made sure that DEATH CROSS showed up in the subject line (so he/she/it got the message), but they get no credit for receiving a reply. Instead, several supporters replied to me (all positive) and things continue.

As a long on a public board, one needs to realize that every reply they receive is not requiring of a return reply, but we may have acted like a catcher's mitt for someone else's rebuttal.

Just my opinion. I've stopped most of my public posting because I've decided if they don't have a playing field, they can't play the game. Do much of my "posting" underground and on the Time and Sales board ;-)
