Here's my theories on iHub.
1. Admins have too many posts to monitor so they REALLY need mods help.
2. iHub Admins really only care about the posts of paid iHub users. So if there's an moderator induced injustice happening with the posts of a free user... you're dead in the water.
3. We have XXWide TraderLink and Thermo. I'm not sure how involved they are. I'm not sure whether we can consider Thermo long anymore.
4. A metric that Admins use to decide whether to just restrict or ban you is your ratio of posts to deletions.
5. It's easy for a mod to get a free poster restricted or banned because a few deletions will kill your ratio.
6. The day to day corruption is at the mod level, but...
7. The TOS is written to support the pumping and bashing culture.
8. LoanStew deletes posts daily and is the most active mod as far as I can tell.
9. Hipple pissed off or screwed enough people in his day that resident mods will sit as mods on Hipple shells until they get the opportunity to screw him back.
10. Bashers work for toxic financiers of the death notes that kill shells.
