FPC employs Niklas Strid as Vice President Customer Projects

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) has employed Niklas Strid as Vice President Customer Projects and new member of FPC's Executive Management Group. Niklas was previously at ST-Ericsson, as well as Ericsson, where he has held various roles since 2002, most recently as Senior Project Manager for Customer Support. Niklas is highly experienced in the mobile phone industry, and has worked in an international environment for many years, primarily in Korea, with complex systems integration in globally successful mobile phones and tablets from leading OEMs. Niklas Strid will replace Henrik Storm, FPC's current VP Customer Projects, who has decided to seek new challenges in another sector after ten years with FPC.  Henrik will continue to serve as an advisor to FPC during 2014 if required. "My ten years with FPC have been very exciting, and being part of a breakthrough for mobile biometrics has been a great experience. I would like to thank everyone I have worked with over these past years, and I am convinced that the industry's powerful growth will continue in the years ahead," says Henrik Storm. FPC's President and CEO, Johan Carlström, says: "With the recruitment of Niklas Strid, FPC has acquired yet another individual whose relevant background, solid understanding of how FPC can meet its customers' needs and requirements, and extensive contact networks in Asia - particularly Korea - will make a direct contribution to FPC's success in both ongoing and future customer projects. Niklas will further boost FPC's efforts to become the leading supplier of fingerprint sensors for the mobile industry." "I would also like to thank Henrik Storm, who has been a great asset to FPC in his various roles, for his dedication, flexibility and technical prowess. Henrik has been a major contributor to FPC's success in recent years and we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors."
