NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 8, 2014) - Eyes on the Go, Inc. (OTCQB: AXCG) ("Eyes"), a virtual broadcasting company providing live and recorded content from top New York City nightlife venues, announced today that they have signed an agreement with BlackBook Media Corporation, a digital magazine that covers topics ranging from art, music, and literature to politics, popular culture, and travel guides.
"The Gander.tv broadcast network and BlackBook are a match made in media heaven," stated Jon Bond, Co-owner of BlackBook Media Corporation.
The relationship will leverage Gander.tv streamed performances with BlackBook editorial and focus on Gander.tv's growing base of emerging artists in music, comedy, spoken word and other performance arts. BlackBook will embed the live streamed and recorded performances on their web site and will add before and after show editorial and comments. Gander.tv and BlackBook will target selected brand name advertisers and sponsors to support these performances through the placement of high quality video and display ads.
The relationship will extend to all venues that Gander.tv broadcasts from, allowing BlackBook to select from hundreds of upcoming shows for feature performances in all genres of entertainment. The partnership will also leverage the onsite video expertise and production capabilities of Picture Farm Pro, a related entity to BlackBook. Picture Farm, located in Brooklyn, NY, will provide interview segments that will be integrated into the Gander.tv event page. They will also be available for more in depth video productions where appropriate, all to be embedded on both Gander.tv and BlackBook web sites.
BlackBook was purchased in June 13, 2013 from Vibe Media by Evanly Schindler, the original Founder, and Jon Bond. Jon was recently voted number four in Adweek's Executive of the Decade poll, and is the Chief Tomorroist at Tomorro LLC, a 'value accelerator,' with interests in nearly a dozen companies, focusing on the marketing technology and digital media sectors, including Appinions, 2Blue Media, High50, Lumos, and others.
"This will allow us to add live streaming video to our highly regarded editorial content. We are very enthusiastic about the long term potential of growing with Gander.tv," commented Jon Bond.
"This is an exciting relationship for Gander.tv," commented Chris Carey, CEO of Eyes on the Go. "Having BlackBook coverage for Gander.tv events will add credibility for performers, labels and venues, and will increase interest in the marketplace for Gander.tv's network. This will increase our reach and traffic. BlackBook has a large number of existing advertiser relationships that the partnership will target for ad and sponsorship support. This partnership puts us on the map."
