I think GOOGLE is placing alot of cash behind it. If you look at Intel, AMD and Qualcom Snapdragon, they will handle both...Google wants to "License" VP9 and H.265 is a "Free Codec"
Free and "Open Source Code" will drive it...We are squarely in a Paradigm Shift"...In the end, I believe Free and Open Source Code will win out.
