Kgem --- Good Morning Team, and a thank you to Mariodino for asking if or when Hollund ever said our team should "hold their feet to the fire."
First, for those who are new here, this board was created by a group of investors who desired honest research and serious dialogue between investors and the company (HIMR) regarding the company's actions and ongoing endeavors. Moderators such as GET MONEY, Junebug, and Integracer02 have been in constant contact with HIMR and their representatives since day one. This board was also started as a counterweight to what was found on Idud. Make no mistake about it, I, like others, am very supportive of Hollund Industrial Marine. My investment in this company proves that I am supportive, and my position as board moderator should indicate my commitment.
However, Hollund has often gone prolonged periods without a single word to its shareholders, and we have seen extreme amounts of share trading and converting that is generally deemed harmful to investors. Yet, they have continually claimed to be very busy in the background growing and building the company. It is and has been our function to try and cut through this veil of silence to obtain useful and helpful information for all investors. It is not our function to raise pom poms and shout and scream of how wonderful Hollund is. We may praise the Lord from time to time, but we do not praise Hollund Industrial Marine as our God and Savior.
For many groups, and one sees this very commonly on message boards, a form of group think often sets in. I feel it is my responsibility to issue words of caution during such times when it seems warranted. Sometimes the mood of the board is distinctly negative, and at other times it is wildly optimistic. Both moods can be detrimental to good investing, and can lead investors to ruin.
Why should we be cautious right now?
We should be cautious, in my opinion, because once again Hollund has made many promises with nothing presented (as of yet) to confirm what they have done. No proof current exists of any of their accomplishments. This is not to say that they have none. On the contrary, I believe they do. However, we have not seen a final agreement on the Lake Bayano concession, nor have we seen an agreement regarding the Class C share issue, and other than their word we have not been given a single photo of the road or ramp or anything regarding Hollund's harvesting operation. In my opinion, we need these things, and should demand them. Peter Meier and Sheldon Roman have both encouraged us to continue holding their feet to the fire when their promises outpace their performance. This is why the moderators of this board have been so active gathering information, and this will continue to be our goal.
I hope this clarifies our function.
