 MediPendant
The MediPendant is our premiere medical alarm product. It is the first monitored two-way voice speakerphone pendant with an enhanced range of 600 feet with superior RF capabilities. The MediPendant can be worn as a neck pendant or wristband.
MediPendant is the only pendant that will allow a certified care specialist to connect in your loved ones for three-way conferencing so you may talk to them along with the specialist.
Once you have pressed the large button on the pendant, a phone call is made to the certified care specialist who then will immediately dispatch medical personnel or a loved one to your location. They will also contact anyone you have listed on your custom call list.
Medicaid Eligible
The objective of a Personal Emergency Response (PERS) is to provide participants with 24-hour monitoring and live phone contact in the event of an emergency or urgent concern. The services will provide the ability to initiate alerts for safety and emergencies manually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
Reimbursement for the PERS service includes monthly monitoring. These reimbursements are inclusive of all equipment, installation and training on it’s use and care while the equipment is in the participant’s home. These also include all visits or calls made to the home to follow-up with participants and/or caregivers, phone calls made that are necessary while the participant is receiving the PERS service and equipment removal when the service is no longer authorized for the participant. The service is fully covered under current Medicaid reimbursement rate. Subject to state-by-state approval.
How it Works
Press the Help button. Wear your waterproof Help button at all times. In the event of an at-home emergency, press the Help button on your personal transmitter or console to receive help. You will be instantly connected to a certified care specialist.
Certified Care Specialists are Ready to Assist You Immediately. Once you’ve pressed the Help button on your pendant, the console receives your signal and automatically places a call the emergency monitoring center. Within seconds a certified care specialist is ready to provide caring, responsive service. When we receive your alert, your personal profile is displayed on our computer systems and your individual response plan is put into action immediately.
Say What You Need. A certified care specialist at the emergency monitoring center talks to you assess the help you need and will stay on the phone with you until assistance arrives.
Individual Response Plan. When seconds are critical, our certified care specialists get you the immediate response you need. Depending on your situation we will notify emergency services, friends, neighbors and family members in whichever order you choose and our specialist will stay on the line with you until help arrives.
