When Ardan International/Gunderboom got their concession in Panama, they also got a $3m line of credit thru Wells Fargo which was 90% guaranteed by the Import/Export Bank (or maybe its called Export/Import - anyway it is part of the federal government). Hopefully, HIMR can a similiar kind of assistance with financing.

It is not relevant to your query about what he might have meant by "national" JB, but it is a way we might get a kind of assistance from the government.

I hope we do get a concession in the US. Although the tree species may be less exotic, it would be nice to have a concession with less risk and lower shipping costs. In an article I read long ago about Water Forest group salvaging from a river in Belize, they referred to shipping as about 60% of the cost (if memory serves). A domestic concession could provide greater predictability and the exposure would definitely help. Also, they wouldn't need a JV. There is a lot of waterwood in the rivers and bays of the northwest and northeast - Tiger-Lynk seems vastly superior to the job of retrieving it. Most countries want 20% of the gross, I don't know what we do here - maybe we could get a break on environmental grounds.

My best guess as to what Jason meant by 'national' is that it refers to the notoriety of this person of interest and what he can do for HIMR's notoriety, but that is only a guess.
