I wonder what the awareness campaign will be like. Companies have all done ewaste drives but they have always been at places like schools and churches - community centers. Wonder what it would take to have an ewaste drive at a place where people are more likely to be socially conscious like Whole Foods or Trader Joes. It would up their profile a bit and companies like these would probably be happy being involved with recycling ewaste. Also, I live In a high rise building where the maintenance guys always complain how people dump their electronics down the trash chutes. What if EWSI began providing collection bins with their brand at all these high rises. Increases the brand, attracts more potential investors, and another source for feedstock. I have never seen a recycling bin for electronics in any building I have been in. Only recycling for paper and plastic, but no electronics. Of course, the campaign will probably include something involving their Facebook page and outdated twitter feed. Other than that, what else do you think EWSI could be planning for the awareness campaign?
