Big Pharma is an octopus of many tentacles. BP is a top funder to federal political campaigns. Every year, they shell out money, several billion dollars in all, to doctors to use and promote their expensive drugs that often create more problems than they solve. Pro Publica shows the money tree in their "Dollars for Docs" data. The war on SK3 is of such duration, constancy, intensity and collaboration that the question must be asked, Who is funding this all-out war and why?
