The Conference, on 19-20 September 2012, will focus on the current application of UAS technology where existing organisations (military and civil) are finding innovative ways of augmenting their existing routine operations with UAS based operations. The challenge for these organisations is to answer the question; are these operations more dependable, effective and efficient as a consequence?
Regulation follows innovation, not the other way round. In Europe the progress towards understanding the regulation of UAS has taken a unique turn in that it is now widely recognised that small unmanned aircraft are a significant niche market which is growing extremely rapidly. Behind this is the inevitable race within research and development to provide the de-facto standard products upon which this industry will base itself in the future.
The conference is intended for those individuals and companies that are not just looking to keep abreast of developments but who are looking for new ways to do business using Unmanned Aircraft Systems and need to see and meet the people to help make this happen.
