The perversity and distortion being practiced on many of those boards over there cries out for a superior form of justice. To some extent though, the existence of this board as a separate entity alongside the other one allows an uneasy coexistence between the innocence of doves (here) and the cunning of serpents (there, even if it is enforced on us by the tilting of the checkered board).
