CHRISTMAS SCHEDULES
- Investor Centers: Closed Wednesday.
Exchanges and markets
- NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, all options exchanges: Closed Wednesday; closing at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
- Directed trading: Closed Wednesday; open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
- Extended-hours trading: Closed Wednesday; open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
- International trading:
- International market and currency access: Most international markets will be closed Wednesday (except Japan)—orders will be queued for the next trading day. Currency markets will be open.
- General foreign ordinary trading: Most international markets will be closed Wednesday (except Japan)—orders will be queued for the next trading day. Currency markets will be open.
- Listed fixed income market: Closed Wednesday; closing at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
- Over-the-counter fixed income market: Closed Wednesday; closing at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Banks
- Federal Reserve Banks and Fedwire: Closed Wednesday; open Tuesday for payment processing and settlements for financial institutions only.
- Depository Trust Company (DTC): Closed Wednesday; open Tuesday for money market instrument settlements only.
- Personal banks: Closed Wednesday; some banks will close early Tuesday.
Mail and parcel delivery
- UPS and U.S. Postal Service: Closed Wednesday (inbound and outbound deliveries will be delayed by one day); some locations will close early Tuesday.
