Credit cards are a disaster. Just look at Target and the mess they are in. The Credit card companies, namely the banks have to eat those losses. With the Wocket is like a wallet and replaces the credit cards. It has the same function as a credit card with loss prevention and can't be hacked. In the end the banks could lower their interest rates because they won't have any losses to cover. (But don't hold your breath on that happening The banks will just use that as a way to increase profits)
