Bingo - it has been mentioned that CWRN has a specific export permit for shipping to China. It has also been mentioned that the price for fines used in fertilizer is roughly three times that of normal iron ore contracts. I'm not a genius but it seems to me that if the only way around our problems with the Mexican government is to pay a lot of extra shipping costs why not do it? For triple the rate why not ship the fines to China and let China ship them right back to the US? No loading and unloading costs in the middle means only the additional shipping. For a price that is so high why not do it for the extra revenue? I'm sure money must be at a premium for this company right now. CWRN should be able to produce as many fines as needed for many years. Anything we don't get to market now will not be able to be made up by later shipments. Play whatever game you need to to gain market share any time it is available. If it costs more to produce and ship so what if it puts money in the companies coffers.
I truly believe right now we haven't received financials because they would look pretty bad. I'm fine with that as long as progress on that end could be shown over time. Ugly proven financials to not too bad proven financials to looking good financials is a normal business progression. What is being shown now is not.
If the reserves are not what we all think they are I could completely agree with holding out for top level prices. If the reserves are being shown to be extensive then why not get this ball rolling?
There is more than one way to skin a cat IMO
