For me 4 years college, 4 years medical school, 1 extra year doing a few externships as a requirement for my 3 years internship, 1 more year fellowship, then I went into practicing, thats just me. My father was anesthesia, i believe that one is 4 years training...if i would do it all over again i would have done that, one of the best practices because you have nurses under you doing it now, just need to supervise (sign papers). Not very stressful and you dont actually have patients to manage, She picked a good one
