Yeah....went WAY OUT on a limb this week. WAY OUT! Everywhere.......
Listen....the house on the northshore was built in 1865. 3 floors, 8000+ square feet, at the end of a cul-de-sac on top of a hill, almost 4 acres.......BEEEUUUUUTTTTYYYFFFFUUUULLLLL.
When I was living there I restored it ...pull chain toilets, claw foot tubs, push button light switches, etc. I left it in the hands of the VSTBE in October 2010.
I went back in yesterday.........truly chokes me up to even write about it....
Here is my point. I think the "forces" that were there........missed me. I think it is all good. I went around the house and the property (chain saw in hand) and inspected "what had to be done." It is a long list....but I got some things done just to let the "house" know I was back.
AND HERE IS THE POINT........when I went to leave........THE H1....OLD FAITHFUL.....WOULD NOT START! LOL.
My son and his friends were there, so I let the truck roll down the hill and around the corner (because I was embarassed after they were admiring the truck and I didn't want them to know there was a problem) and with a few tweeks I got it to run........
So my point.....the house didn't want me to leave (remember we are talking 1865....civil war era....147 years of history). Now...the house knows if it wants me to stay there and bring it back into shape......well.......WE NEED BALTIA TO DO SOMETHING! Repairs take $............
Heck............every little bit of positive energy.....from where ever........can't hurt.......
