It's not easy to defend the dividend scheme because, unfortunately, the proof is in the pudding. Has this mix and match scheme helped SK shareholders? From what I see, it's only gummed things up and added to shareholder frustration and angst. The announced record date for the dividend was June 5, 2013. Today is December 15, 2013, over seven months later. Agent calls it a thorn in the side. It's time for them cut their losses, terminate this dividend debacle, and move forward with CUSIP, name change, and merger. If this rubbish happened in Japan, Mayor and Choo would be hunting through the kitchen drawers. Where is a CEO good and true?
