Just got an email from the boss man regarding FB LIKES!

EMAIL:
We have been discussing this issue with Facebook and so far here is what I have found:

1. We set up an advertisement over Facebook Fan page account to promote to our friends what we are doing and give their friends opportunity to LIKE the page.
2. We can set up the Geographic area for promotion (ours are set to USA, Canada, Colombia and UK)
3. We began to receive quite a large amount of likes from overseas but nothing strange.
4. The total promotion cost us $5-$10 per day.
5. Numbers grew healthy to 6k likes
6. Then we began to see it grow viral. No in app advertising
7. Our back end (I've saved screen shots) show that the likes from +6k - +50k have been viral and not paid.

But here is what we have also found. Our App3DLite grown just as fast (percentage wise) as the Facebook likes grow. We can see the downloads and that they are REAL customers plus many are buying the 3D glasses . This is giving us a bit of security that these LIKES may be real. We began shipping glasses over seas today.

If this is a scam from someone they haven't made any money for us. The $5 per day spent where from Facebook IN-App services and we probably have only spent under $100 that I can figure.

PS. Good news is I discovered an issue for Facebook where their order processing from the cell phone takes in account the largest sector of your likes and if a promotion is ordered over the mobile phone you can not change the geographical location as you can on computer.
