MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 12/12/13 --
Intelligent Living Inc. (OTCQB: ILIV) announced today that the MIND360 brain games platform is out of beta and has been launched on www.mind360games.com . The MIND360 platform consists of game-like exercises designed to train and improve cognitive functions. The programs target different parts of the brain, and are experimentally tested with the help of collaborators at top academic institutions. Users pay a monthly subscription to use the program and track their progress with detailed performance reports and feedback.
Intelligent Living's CEO Victoria Rudman said, "We are incredibly proud of this platform and the positive impact we feel it can make on our subscribers' lives. It's been a development challenge to rollout the new platform, but our great team was able to pull it together and get the MIND360 product launched. As we have stated before we want to be a competitive force in this business segment."
At launch, MIND360 features exercises in four broad areas: memory, attention, brain speed and executive reasoning. There are hundreds of exercise configurations available to users, with more being added all the time. MIND360 also incorporates informational content on the brain, with advice on improving brain health through diet, physical exercise, sleep, stress reduction and best practices of everyday activities.
The MIND360 platform is designed around the 3 core ideas: 1. That "executive functions" are important for reaching our personal goals in life no matter what your level of profession; 2. Because each of us encounter different cognitive stresses and have different preparatory points in our developmental evolution there is no one size fits all brain training solution for everyone; and 3. You must challenge yourself everyday if you are going to keep brain function working as optimally as it can for your station in life.
"We go into this market cautiously and know that just because you do well with the brain fitness exercises on MIND360 does not mean that you won't forget simple things (brain chemistry is a complicated cocktail). As life spans continue to lengthen, it's becoming increasingly clear that our brains as well as our bodies are amazingly resilient and adaptive. Even 90-year-olds can build new muscle mass through physical exercise. So can their brains, although what's being developed is not new muscle but new synapses. And while some of the exercise that produces these effects is physical, most of it is mental. However, MIND360 can help you keep the acuity that you have currently and keep you on level," said Josh Eikov, Chief Strategist of Intelligent Living.
