It happens in all markets. Even in the big boards large funds write options and manipulate price in either direction for large gains with constant head fakes to rip off small investors. It becomes a guessing game that is impossible to predict if you're a trader. It is even more blatant in OTC where some of these companies are not even real businesses and participate in the ponzi schemes.
What makes me feel more confident this year is that EWSI has made more of an effort to get itself in the public eye, participating in events such as the Microsoft Store and the LA Cleantech Incubator. Shaking hands with the mayor and posting pics on Facebook helps silence the doubt. More of the same would help. Maybe even a real investors meeting or a teleconference as well.
