the port was dredged to 14.5 m at EIT berth [misleading port info that entire port was to 14.5 m] finished late - Jan 2011,and hwy to ENSENADA was improved,but Mexico was begging an international consortium (mainly china) to build the Colonet port,which failed due to local opposition and concern re China monopoly of ports etc
in crazy mexico,I would be pursuing my own shiploading station, as Navial predicted by jan 2014, to get intrusive govt interference out of my hair as much as possible-no wonder mexcio cant afford toilet paper-they dont build anything apart from jobs stolen from the usa in mostly border factories dependent on usa,and wont let these co's-their tax base- prosper either
